The playoffs this weekend not only marks the final games of the NIIHA senior season but also the last time that Brian Morrow, the break dancing, bmx riding netminder laces up his skates for the Cyclones as he has decided to retire from the sport so that he can spent more time with his family.
Bri will be remembered at the Cyclones for his big hands (that would cover both cheeks when he slapped your ass), his big saves and most of all his big personality. Always the heart and soul of the Cyclones, Brian coined the infamous phrase ‘Thats Cyclones Hockey’ and would do anything for his team mates, from giving words of wisdom to bringing packed lunches for the team on road trips.
So Bri, all your team-mates, the juniors, their parents and associates of the Cyclones would like to wish you all the best in your retirement and hope that you can go out with a bang this weekend by raising the NIIHA Playoff Trophy for the second consecutive year.
